Nutritional approach
A dog never reads the label on its bag of kibble. It will judge the Maverick formula by its energy, its coat, its stools and its appetite — not by a protein percentage printed in large type. Here’s what a good formula really hides.
A formula can’t be summed up in a single figure
It’s the first reflex when reading a bag of kibble: look for the protein content and compare. But a quality kibble can’t be judged on a single isolated figure. It needs coherence between protein, fats, digestible carbohydrates, fibre, minerals and vitamins — an overall balance, not one-upmanship on a single line of the nutrition table.
This approach is applied in our adult dog formula, designed for everyday feeding.
The formula’s key balances
Protein
Protein contributes to the body’s essential functions. Its value also depends on the quality of the ingredients, how they complement each other and their digestibility.
Fats
Fats provide energy and play an important role in the palatability of the kibble.
Fibre
Fibre supports digestive comfort and contributes to a balanced ration.
Vitamins and minerals
Micronutrients complete the formula to cover the daily needs of the adult dog.
